One of the Netherlands most-recognisable names in contemporary design, Maarten Baas if often described as a “author designer” by virtue of his works occupying the boundaries between art and design. With his rebellious, intellectual and performative oeuvre, the spectrum of Baas’ work encompasses conceptual designs, limited editions, production design, installations, public space, architecture, interior design, theatre design and performances. In addition to appearing in leading museums worldwide, Baas has worked with of brands such as Dior, Louis Vuitton, Swarovski, Dom Reuinart and Berliti among others.

Lasvit

Founded in 2007 and based in the Czech Republic, Lasvit transforms glass into breathtaking light experiences. The company is committed to overcoming the traditional boundaries of the glassblowing field by using and exploring glass as a medium and experimenting with new and unconventional manufacturing processes. Lasvit has offices around the globes and their projects can be seen worldwide from London, Paris and Prague, to metropolises including Moscow, Los Angeles, Hong Kong and Singapore.
