About the Artist

John Barnard is a British race car designer who has recently turned his hand to designing carbon fibre furniture in collaboration with Terence Woodgate – an industrial designer specialising in furniture and lighting with an unbelievably pared-back and slimline formal expression. As a Royal Designer of Industry, Woodgate is also a recipient of the Red Dot ‘Best of the Best’ and IF ecology awards. Together, both Barnard and Woodgate share an almost obsessive focus on detail and state-of-the-art manufacture.
